Skills required
Retail management, including stock selection, product sourcing and ordering, tracking and gross profit analysis to grow retail section of the business
Experience with dogs, including dog training, daycare, grooming or other. The ideal candidate would have skills to drive our new inhouse dog training program
Exceptional customer service experience and merchandising ability
Sufficient IT skills to learn company software, including Square and Xero
Ability to lead and motivate the team,
Key Responsibilities
This role is reporting directly to the business owner/director You will be working alongside the reception team leads, splitting your time between reception, retail and direct dog related activities
To have full responsibility for the successful operation of the retail store
Drive training service delivery
Oversee and monitor staff performance of daily procedures for daycare, reception and grooming salon to drive consistent high standards, in conjunction with the director
To lead and develop your team to boost sales and drive our dog training program
To ensure customers receive an exceptional experience
Adhoc marketing and product development projects including events.
Ensure adherence to all safety standards and requirements across the store
