Supervising and Engaging with Dogs:
Oversee the playgroups and ensure a safe and positive environment for all dogs.
Monitor and maintain control over dog interactions, promoting healthy play and discouraging any aggressive behavior.
Engage in interactive play sessions with the dogs, ensuring they receive ample exercise and mental stimulation.
Monitoring Health and Safety:
Observe dogs for any signs of illness, injury, or distress and report any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
Administer basic first aid, if necessary, such as cleaning minor wounds or applying bandages.
Maintain a clean and sanitized facility, including regular cleaning of play areas, toys, bedding, and other equipment.
Follow established safety protocols and emergency procedures to ensure the well-being of the dogs and staff.
Customer Service and Communication:
Greet dog owners in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive client experience.
Provide updates to dog owners regarding their pets' activities and behavior throughout the day.
Address any questions or concerns dog owners may have, providing exceptional customer service.
Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.
Creation of Social Media Posts:
Capture high-quality photos and videos of the dogs during their daycare activities.
Use creativity and an understanding of social media trends to create engaging and visually appealing posts for various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram).
Write informative and entertaining captions to accompany the posts. Schedule and publish social media posts regularly, showcasing the fun and positive experiences of the dogs in our care.
Respond to comments and engage with followers in a professional and friendly manner.
Basic Administrative Tasks:
Assist with maintaining accurate records of each dog's activities, meals, medications, and any special instructions.
Help with inventory management and restocking of supplies as needed.
Requirements:
Passion for working with dogs and providing exceptional care.
Experience handling and managing groups of small to medium-sized dogs is highly preferred.
Knowledge of dog behavior, body language, and pack dynamics.
Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to signs of stress, anxiety, or aggression in dogs.
Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of an active work environment, including lifting and restraining dogs when necessary.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with dog owners and fellow staff members.
Strong photography and video skills to capture captivating content for social media.
Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
